War Wounds
A view from atop the hill
The Landing Beach
Hey everyone this is Harley. Lee and I went on our second hike today. We went to Asan Beach which is the beach that the Marines landed on in WWII when they retook Guam from the Japanese; now it is a National Park. We had a good time and afterwards we went to the top of a mountain that overlooks the beach which is where the Japanese had guns to fire on the Marines. There was a plaque to honor the Americans who died retaking the island and there was a William Ragle who died. I am going to have to do some research and find out more about him. Hope everyone is well, talk to you all again soon
