It's going to be a long day

Today is going to be a long day. I had plans yesterday to do all of the laundry but the power went out for a long time. I think the power has went out more here in the two months we have been here than in my entire life anywhere else, crazy. So, I have a ton of laundry to do and I better get it done because we have a tropical storm watch going on right now. If we really do get a typhoon we won't have power and who knows for how long. I guess thinking about the power of course it will go out a lot here, we live on a tiny island out in the middle of the ocean. Every time we have a storm lightning strikes something and we are stuck without power. Yesterday the whole island was without power and it wasn't even a bad storm, hardly a storm at all. Lee and I still have the Guam Crud (that is what everyone refers to it as out here). My throat has hurt really bad for almost a week, it will be a week tomorrow and my ears hurt too. Lee has complained of his throat hurting and today his nose is running like a faucet. He still is trying to get the hang of blowing his nose, he sucks in instead of blowing out. I didn't know it was so hard to teach a little one how to blow their nose. He even slept with me last night because he didn't feel good and poor Harley slept on the couch, I guess it is more comfortable than Lee's bed. Easton is doing just fine, happy as ever. He hardly ever cries, if he is crying it is usually because he is hungry or his teeth are really bothering him. He is having a hard time teething, I feel so bad for him, it's a good thing we don't remember getting our teeth in. My mom sent me these little teething tabs in the mail and they seem to help him a lot for a while along with tylenol. Since I am updating on everyone I might as well update you on Squeaky our betta fish. I think he is sick of something. He has started to develop a white patch on his head and doesn't seem very active. I am kind of worried, Lee would be devestated if his fish died. I guess I could just get him a new one if he did. They all kind of look alike. Here I am thinking what did I do wrong for this fish to get sick?? I really hope he makes it through whatever it is. I thought these things were supposed to live for a long time. My neighbor asked me to go to a scentsy open house with her yesterday and I am so glad I went. I had never heard of scentsy until I got to Guam. It is kind of like the little yankee burners with the tarts but these burn with a little light bulb and it smells up our entire house. I bought two of them and some of the bricks. I am obsessed already. Harley is working all weekend, last day today and the he has two days off. Except he never really gets to enjoy his days off now. He is always doing homework and now scuba diving. He has his first lesson tomorrow. I signed up for a photography class and scuba diving class through a wives club that I have joined so I am looking forward to those classes. I just hope I can handle the scuba lessons. I kind of have a fear of water. I guess to pass you have to be able to put on your mask and take it off and then put it back on and get all of the water out of it all being under water. This kind of freaks me out. I am afraid I am going to try to breathe under water while doing this and inhale a bunch of salty yucky water and have to have CPR. Oh my, I don't even want to think about it yet. If all of that fails, I can always just snorkle. We snorkled on our honeymoon and it was fun but for some reason my goggles and little tube always got water in them. Geesh, enough about water. I am really going to enjoy the photography class, you all know how much I like to take pictures. She is going to teach us all about lighting and angles and all kinds of good stuff. That's about all I can ramble on about right now.
